Full Name: Jacklyn Caroline Masterson
Nicknames: Jackie, JC
Age/Birthday/Year: June 21, 1960
House: Either Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, you decide!
Death Eater?: Ew...no
Blood: Half
Sex: Female
Appearance:
Jackie is, upon first impressions, a regular girl. She looks shy, a sort of porcelin doll look about her. She has the babydoll features that seemed to have matured over the years. She is a natural beauty. Dark chocolate locks grace her and fal past her bust in natural waves, although she occasionally wears it striaght. Her eyes are peircing blue that stand out against her dark eyelashes and pale ivory skin. Her smile is flawless, but hardly ever shows around those she doesn't know and or trust. She stands about 5'6" and is thin, but curvacious, hating the fact that she actually does have rather large hips. Shes comfortable in her own skin but hardly shows it in large crowds
Personality:
When first meeting Jackie, you'd think that she was the single shyest person you'd ever met. Once she opens up to someone, however, its a completely different story. She can be funny, sarcastic, bright and bubbily. Most of the time she is introverted. She is a great friend, and is always the shoulder to lean on. She is afraid to trust people, so it takes a while for her to open up to you. She is always the advice-giver and is constantly writing, whatever that is that she does write is up to her, and only seen by her, but she does it constantly.
When tested, she can be a bit hotheaded, but never oversteps her boundries. She is only ever brave when tested, but she is, when standing up for those she loves, intellegent, witty, and opinionated, not afraid to tell whoever it may be what exactly she is feeling towards them. She loves her friends and hates her enemies, there really isn't much in between, but she can at times be a social butterfly.
Talents:
She plays a mean Keeper in a game of quidditch, and has a killer intuition, she follows her instincts. School-wise, she does her work on time and in an orderly fashion, but only in certain subjects. She excels in Charms and Tranfiguration, and shes alright in Defense Against the Dark Arts class and somewhat enjoys Astronomy
Weaknesses:
It takes her forever to trust someone, so if you are new in her life, be patient. She hates Potions, History of Magic, and Divination. She sometimes tends to be hotheaded, and too careful. She overthinks things and definately is a careful and thoughtful person. She thinks things through before going through with them, which to her is considered a weakness.
Childhood History:
Her early years in England, after her parents divorce were hard, but great. She lived with her mom in a flat. Right before she was accepted to Hogwarts her grandfather died and left all his money and estate to her mother, and the two moved into Godric's Hallow, right down the street from most of the large Wizarding families, and JC got along just fine. She had friends and was accepted to Hogwarts, where she was sorted into [blank] and for the first four years of her schooling kept to her self more. She did hang out with other Ravenclaws, but she was much more of a loner. [The next part is judging if she is accepted for the things I'm applying her as]. She was made a prefect in her fifth year, and met Lily Evans. The two bonded, and she began spending much more time with the Gryffindor girls in her year rather than the Ravenclaw ones. They taught her to be fun, much more fun than she was. She broke out of her shell then and started playing Quidditch, hanging out on weekends rather than doing homework or writing in her journal.
Family History:
She was born into a very conservative household. Her mother was a stay at home mom with a secret...she just happened to be a witch. Her father was a muggle business man. The two met at a coffee shop, and they fell instantly in love. They married two years into their relationship, and in the next year, Jackie's brother Joshua was born, and another three years later, Jackie was born. When she was ten years old, her father found out about her mother being a witch, and totally freaked out. He left for America-California to be exact- taking Josh and Jackie's younger sister Katalina with him. JC, having shown powers, was shunned by her father for several years before he wanted to have a relationship with her. Her and her mother moved into a small flat in London, and lived a happy life as two best friends.
Relationships:
She had two long relationships in her life. The first was with her very first boyfriend Chris. A Ravenclaw in her year, she began dating him in third year. She was too young to know any better. The relationship lasted a year and a half, and halfway through her fifth year, the two mutally split. The second was a Hufflepuff named Johnny a few months after her and Chris split up. That relationship ended after three months. A two year relationship ended in heartbreak for Jackie when he decided that a girl in his house was better suited for him.
In the beginning of her 6th year, however, she met and fell for 7th year Ravenclaw Lucas Scott, who was just what she was looking for. He was sweet, kind, smart, and definately funny. She was surprised at how easily she opened up and fell in love with him. The two got very serious around the end of his 7th year, and before he had to leave to start training for the Chudley Canons, the Professional Quiddtich team he was drafted to, he proposed to her. Jackie took...well she took her sweet time in accepting, but at the start of her 7th year, she wrote him a letter, the two met up, and she accepted his proposal.
Her best friends aren't really even in her house. She is a Marauderette, her best friends three Gryffindor girls that she met through Lily Evans when the two met being Prefects. Her enemies are basically anyone she doesn't trust, Slytherins, and arrogent, cheeky boys, basically the Marauders.
Family-wise, her mother is a single mother and a Healer at St. Mungoes and a researcher for the Department of Mysteries. Her mother above all else is her best friend. She has two siblings, Josh and Kat, the two of which she hasn't seen for year. Her father is an ass who left her mother and took the 'normal' children to California with him. She went a year ago to his wedding and her father wanted to 'Get to know' Jackie, but she found out that this was only because his fiance wanted to meet her and introduce her to her children, Jennie and Jessie. Twin terrors they were. She left California with a worse grudge for her father than ever. And a new found respect for her mother and siblings.
What made them who they are today:
Jackie's lack of a father figure made her somewhat...reserved. The few times she did see her father he was distant, and almost cold to her. Her mother had always been her hero. The thing that held her up. Her mother was her best friend. Together the two were witty and bright, nearly unstoppable. Her mother taught her to be the woman she is today.
Sample post:
Do I haaave tooo? Karrraaaa?? [Okay, but its OLD]
Yes, the shrieking shack was a strange place to meet up for a date, but there was a novelty that she loved about the place, and not many people visited it anymore anyways. Yes, she was actually going on a date with Sirius Black, but that was besides the point. They had decided that they would meet up, rather than go together, as she had some things she needed to get done in the village. It was strange, that she was actually a bit nervous, because this was a real date, not just a fling, maybe the start of something. Maybe the realization that things aren't as they seem, maybe something completely pointless and a waste of time. She really didn't know what to expect.
It was cold outside, because hey... October in England...pretty cold. There wasn't snow yet, but she assumed in the coming weeks there would be, maybe even by Halloween, but it was already halfway through, and another two weeks till Halloween, which happened to be her favorite of all the holidays. There was a total commercialism to it that she hated, but at the same time, she loved the history and culture behind it, so what was to say that she shouldn't love it. It had nothing to do with dressing up or candy for her, and everything to do with history and a long tradition.
So she waited, a few minutes earlier than she should've been there, but she looked around nonetheless, getting more and more nervous by the second, although as he got here she thought that the feeling might quell. Today she wore simple low rise jeans, that she actually loved to death, as they were ripped at the knees and flared out. She wore high heeled boots, black obviously. Her shirt was a simple white turtleneck with a white puffed vest, perfect cuteness for a date, and a casual one at that. Her hair was down in curls, as she normally wore it straight, she thought she'd change it up. That was what he did to her, she wanted to surprise him. Her hair was naturally wavvy as it was now, so she was excited to not have to do much but blow dry it-magically-today. It was safe to say she felt self confident, and perfect to the t...now all she had to do was get through the date and see where that left her in all of this meaningless emotion as her father would call it.
Her father, a no nonsense kind of man would discourage her from even dating in the first place, and maybe that was the root of her problems and the cause of her reputation.
