Not just anyone can be a Captain. Your character has got to be good. And only Sixth or Seventh years can become Captains. Also, you must already be on the Quidditch team to apply. Meaning myself or another staff member must have accepted you before you can go on and apply here.
N/A means that the House doesn't have a captain yet.

Name: James Potter
Year: 7th
House: Gryffindor
Quidditch Position: Most-amazingly-amazing-chaser-in-the-world-ever
Why should you be Captain?: Because I exist… Because I’m well, James Potter, and an arrogant prat the best Quidditch Player in this school, and probably in the world. Quidditch is more than a game to me, it’s an addiction (so much of an addiction I’ve been too busy to fill in this form before now, heh) and a way of life.
With regard to leadership skills and other important stuff like that, being the self-proclaimed ‘height of cool’ means that most of the house, and pretty much everyone else (except Slytherins, but they don’t count), respect and admire me. The Marauders dynamic (which I’m not going to explain, because it’s a secret, but the way things work is obvious enough) means I’m used to both playing leader and carrying responsibility.
And because I’m too lazy busy thinking up strategies and stuff here’s a nice little bit copied from my Chaser Applic I believe the phrase "Quidditch Prodigy" has been bandied around, although that is of course an understatement James is, to put it bluntly, a natural, blessed with lightning reflexes and superb broomsmanship (? is that a word? Well, it is now) and unafraid to 'redefine' the game with one crazy plan or another, most of which somehow pull themselves off.
